Last ONe. Todd Bube

In the class that night I was very excited that a Children Pastor was talking to us. One that have help build a great children program in a already pretty big church. Todd Bube grow up in the church from kids church to youth to forming relationship with the church in the grow up stage that they took him on to first run the church land grounds and building crew. At the same time he was helping in any other part of the church, Youth was the place that need the help the most so he was helping them. They need a youth pastor so they put him on part time youth pastor and full time grounds person. They moved into to the new church and he stay are his position till he realized that it was impossible to be a grounds crew at the same time that he was doing youth. He told us a story about how he was teaching a middle school class and one of the ladies from the church and asked him to come unclog a towel. He decided to tell the pastor that he needed to do one thing so that his ministry can be focused. So he moved right into youth full time. He was ok doing but he still felt his heart do somewhere else. At the time, his wife was working in the children church area and being a good husband was also helping were he could. He was falling in love with the kids ministry area. He wanted to move fully into that position. He talked to the pastor and they moved him in as the children pastor or you can say apart of the kids church time. Ever since he moved into working with children, he feels that he has found his notch. With the kids program, I found out that it is a unit of people working together to influence kids for Christ. The way that he has the program set up is one amazing thing to understand. The programs that he uses is from a different place but it is something the take the Sunday school lesson to the road , dinning, and bedtime. It helps the kids learn about God, but also helps the parent to spend time with there kids. He really has a heart for kids. And he is willing to step in anywhere to make the programs run. The three-year-old room lol wow that is a great story. If you want to learn about more… go A DEVELOPING OUTREACH  AND DISCIPLESHIP PROGRAMS  class and you will see the amazing stories that everyone that come into the class as a guess speaker has for us..

It was a great class.. wish that I could come back one day with my story.. You never know….

Brain Knorr

Brain Knorr was a very interesting pastor from Mountaintop ministry. He really knows the dynamic of his area in the way the community works together, and what the community needs. When I walked into class on Tuesday night, and everyone was having fun playing with cups for speed stacking competition. Brain Knorr was smart by bring this companion into the church family center because it took the trouble teens off the street in a place where people care of them and understand what they are going through. He started this to bring kids to the church to ministry to them but then the parents would come to see their kids and get involved with the church. It was right to call it Mountaintop Family Center Church because it really is for the whole family. The tried the outreaching in the community but they found out that it was hard because you don’t form relationship. The church got a great start by people in the community looking for a place to go the church really got start from word of month. They had some problems starting the church because the local school didn’t want them to come into the school so they took it to a legal action and they opened it up for them. The school was a little still against them so they would make it hard for the church to set up on Sunday. They meet the best person in the school the junior was there and he was telling and figuring things out for them before they even come into the school that morning. One thing that Brain knew that the community was very Catholic area so he worked with them, and most of the people come out of the Catholic church down the road so they didn’t know about anything about church service. So he told us that he had to explain everything that they were going to do. Like you can raise your hand and praise the Lord, lay hand on the person next to you and pray for them… things like that. So now they have a small group for reformed Catholics … it been six year and it is became a great church.

New Believer 3

Finding a new believer that just came to Christ the last time was hard for me to do, and this got me thinking what are our church doing to reach people if there are like a billion people in the world and finding a new believer was hard to do. Why was my question. Why was it hard? It was hard to find a new believer because our church are not reaching out to their communities and reaching the people that need help or need a friend. One Church in Philly was doing just that and it was called Philly Feast. It happens every year around this time. I was able to go and i talk to this young gentle man . He was really amazing. He story was like the ones that you here on the news but in this story he lived. He talked about his life in a Gang and doing all this stuff, and one day after seeing a friend that changed his life around like a 180 jump he saw that life in a gang was not for him. He try to find church in the area but he was not able to get the courage to get up and walk in. That week he was walking and come up to Philly Feast and that where he heard the Word about forgiveness and freedom from Hurt in Jesus Christ. That Day he gave his heart to Christ. Since them he has been going to church and falling in love with Christ Daily. It was really inspiring to know that a outreach like Philly Feast could save a person like my friend, and be able to change his life forever.

Mike Hammer from Dillsburg

Mike Hammer was so far one of the most inspiring people that I meet in this class so far... He was so real about things. He shared stories that i would never really say in-front of a class that i just meet. He seem to understand the 50 50 talk thing.. it is when i tell you something about my life you tell me something about your life. It was really inspiring to be sitting there while he was talking about the ministry that he has in that community for the hurting. The way that he was able to talk to us about his life of hurt, I know for me, helped a lot to understand this system that he has for helping people. He helps people to see that in their past there were people or things that would hurt us and now it is affecting what our personality is like, what decisions that we making on a daily bases, so on and so on. In class that night he was able to take us through one of the workshops that he has.  It was amazing how i was able to see myself as a little kids looking into a mirror and seeing myself in the hunting state, but then i was older and i was able to take the hand of this little me and tell them it was going to be ok. It was one amazing experience getting back to the Child like Faith and Knowledge to see that everything will be ok because God is there. Through Music and talking, i was add to focus on this child and be able to forgive everything that happened to me that brought me pain or hurt. Through writing and thought i was able to forgive people that might have caused me pain.  It was a good time for me to see everything was going to be ok. Mike has a great ministry and i really feel that he is going to change lives very quickly.

Unchurch friend 3 ( Eye opener)

AS I finish up my last and final un-churched friend blog I realized that everyone that I talked to so far about their lives and what they would like in a church to do three things came up. One they wanted a church that accepted them for who they were and felt like they didn’t have to change even before they went into church. Two, they wanted a place that was willing to see them through it all and be a helper in their community. Third, they wanted a place that was real not just the church in general but as the people in it. They wanted to see the people in the church as the same outside the church. The last person that I talked to was a friend that I meet some weeks ago at work. He never went to church as a kid because his parent didn’t want to wake up in the morning. Church was something that seemed like an obligation to him among his friend that was Christian only on Sundays. I asked him what he would want in a church if he would ever consider go to church on Sunday. He told me a place that doesn’t meet on Sunday morning but a better day and night time. He also says everything else that the other two said about the church. He wanted to know someone from the church. He said that he would go if someone like one of his friend invited him to go. But no one has invited him to go. So I did. He came to church with me. And he might come back. But he helped me to see that a lot of our friends are looking for a place to go, but no one has invited them to go. Maybe as Christian we need to see that people feel welcomer when they are invited to a place like a church from someone that they knew. But I feel that most Christians are afraid to being them to church because of their image. We need to step outside that box and become friends with people but invite them and not hope that they will come one day.

David Kennard

David Kennard From Riverside community church is a man that truly understands the principal of small group church. As I came into the classroom that night, I wasn’t sure what to expect from this pastor because he just seemed like a normal guy. But as I started to listen what he does with the church I was shocked how much this guy knows his stuff and has almost a pastoral board from different church all supporting each other with this amazing system of small groups. I love this contempt-raising Priest in the church. You need to be a priest in the group meaning that the small group is helping you grow closer to God and this is forming your knowledge around God, which is showing you the steps of the priesthood of believers. A little back down of this process is the SEASON of life Wheel I call it. And any people in their church that would like to be a member for this church they have to go through the first step of the SEASON WHEEL which is Christianity 101 the winter season this is setting the foundation the dream in their lives. David Kennard teaches this step in his church and he said that it is a great time to get people plugged into the small group that they need to be in but they are also finding God for their selves. The next step is 201, which is the spring or the spiritual development. They are help the 101 class to grow into the 201 classes by developing their knowledge of Christ in their life. 301 is the summer and they part is shaping them and discovering the newest of themselves in life this is the time that people commit in discipline other in the church by doing some type of work. Most people at this time leave the classes because they don’t want to commit yet. 401 is the fall which is the harvest time which is going to take everything that you learned and apply it to their lives through evangelism which means that they need to dedicate their time for reaching the lost. The last part is 501 the final and that is their complete devoted to God in every part of their lives. I really like this concept of small group that there are focus group that are working together to help each other out in all ascepts of their life. There is a small group for everyone.

Nick Poole 30 in one

Nick Poole, a grad from CBC came to Allison Park Church to help them with the background stuff that makes all their church run with a passion for the love of God. When asked what his weekly route is he replied it is a little different every week, month, and year. He does weekly staff meeting with mostly all the churches that came out of Allison Park, he does attended church in one of the church on Saturday night, but on Sunday he is either at one of the church plants or preaching at one. Every week he also goes graphed design for any of the church that need it. So he will work on their website or even big posters. He is almost like a walking Think Tank because he comes up with solution for things that might be a little too hard to think about if you are the pastor of the church. He felt the call to do this type of ministry when God told him “ I will take care of your church, you take care of mine. Right now he is doing that and the churches are growing. Seven Church with 14 other in the area that he is working with and he also is the back up preacher for all the church that might be looking for a pastor after the pastor left. Nick Poole is one amazing guy, and after saying everything that he is doing guess what his title is, you would think it was the 30 in one because he can do 30 different things and he is still one guy. But the title that he gave us in class was Multi -Church movement or for a sounder title the MCM director, Pastor Church Planter, and all round Go 2 Guy. Sitting in the Classroom I was looking at how crazy his life is in so many sense but I realized that if he didn’t do it than who else would do it. He has a talent that God gave him and I am amazed how much he is holding everything together. He does everything. Allison Park Church is a growing church with so many church plants coming from the church, so much that the small community of Allison Park Churches are united together to help each other out. He told us a lot of the story and you can find most of the up on his bloog, which is NickPoolenow.com. Check it out.

New Believer and a friend

One day while talking to my roommate, my roommate best friend came in the room. We both knew each other but not to the point where I was able to say that we were friend. They were talking about their past and such and started to ask me my opinion. In the midest of all the conversation that were going on, me and my new friend found out that we both have simular backgrounds and life stories. After finding that i had to ask question to a new believer i thought of my friend. She told me at the age of 14 she came to know the Lord at church one day and then less then a year later she went back into the pattern of the world again. Then one day God got a hold of her heart and she came back to the Lord and since then she had her ups and downs .I said her what the best part of being a Christians is?  The best part of being a Christian is being apart of the church. The hardest part was living everyday surrounding by things that she use to do. The Best part of being in Church is being with all this amazing people in church that encourager me to each going. Most changeling was understand what God really has for me. I pray a lot but sometime i feel that he didnt answer. Some advice that i have for new believers is to find someone that you can be accountable to that knew everything about you and everything that happens in your life and encourages you to grow in God. She told me all this and it made me think that if i was not open to hear her story then i would have never meet a great friend but also accountable partner. we are working together to find what God has for us. He has done great things for both of us.. Thank you GOD so much for her...

Courtney Bancroft

Courtney Bancroft seemed like a typical student of a college campus, I so what I thought when she came into class till she I found out that she is apart of Chi Alpha. I heard of the ministry before so it was not a new thing for me. She started Chi Alpha journeys in her college days at UNC where she was a campus missionary with her roommate. They Lead bible studies at the school. Funny thing was that she was Communication and History Study Major what is that going to do if she was going to continue working with this group. In the next years, she went to DC after hearing her friend, roommate. Her roommate was there for her internship and told her that this is were the party it at. First she didn’t want to go because she had baguettes to rise but she knew that it was worth a shot. And to be true DC was the place to be, there is five different campuses in DC. They did things like the Gospel according to the Simpson. Brought it to Georgetown but got kick off. She said being on a campus at Georgetown you have to have a lot of rule because of the school being a private and will only alone one religions group on campus. So what they did was got to know friend through CA and then went to their rooms for dorm visit and meet the friend like that. Her director did things like the Screw Tape Later where he acted like the Devil and handed out sign book of the Screw Tape. So she was in the program for one year stayed two year. There everyone thought it was time for her to start her own ministry. Our professor Rees went down and asked her to go to PA.  She really wanted to go to Philly. She felt the call before she even went there. She tried for Villanova and since it is a Catharine school, they told her NO. Before they said no she was raising money and the people did understand why she would go to VILL so they gave her a hard time. Once they said No she was not sure where to go. Temple University. She went to start connecting to AG. She found out what Kids went to Temple from the Churches… Need to ten student to start a ministry. Some jumped out right in the beginning. One girl slapped her. And it was her PRESIDENT. Some Medical condition… series ones came up. She was income for a week because of the doctor were a treated her wrong.  Spiritual things was happening and she was healed he believes. Then the ministry started. The ministry went. The meetings were Mostly non-Christian that come then Christians. Co-ed and hang out Girls talk about guys. Being a woman in ministry… it is harder to relate with guys in the BOYS World… Some people are hard to work with people. But in the end she is growing in this world and the campus will be reach one student at a time.

Unchurch Friend Number 2# Getting the Reality of Non-Churched View

In Philly one day I was walking on our homeless ministry rot. We were handing out sandwiches and clothes when an old friend that uses to live on the streets and saw us every Tuesday night found us again and started to talk to us about everything that was happening in his life. I was like a big family reunion in LOVE Park that night because he was close to allot of people on the team, so it was cool to see him. I asked him if he has been going to church, he said not really because the churches in the area were not really open to him coming in and sleeping in the shelter that they had when he was on the streets, so now that he is off them, Church is not a good places for them. He didn’t see the love of Christ in their heart, so he didn’t want to go there. He tells me that he is a Christian but not a church goer at all. He wishes that more Christians were understanding of situation that people are in and help them but they don’t see the need for helping the needy. He doesn’t think that allot of people go to church to find Christ or love they go to church to feel forgive even if they are high when they walk into the door. He wishes that people would not say they are Christian that doesn’t live out the Christian faith. He was like I HATE FAKE People. Listening to him that night made me think why are Christian so fake in life, and he put it go because they love the world more then they love God but know that God is a so great they don’t want to get on his backslide.

Youth with Courtney

Courtney a gradate from VFCC in 2006 seems like a fun loving girl that you can see right when you first meet her. She is from Gladetitings church was she works now as one of the youth pastor of the Youth Leadership team, but she didn’t start off as a youth pastor. Going into her internship in 2005 even though she work at GT for the three summer before that she wanted to work Glade tites as a youth pastor because well she was a youth major. But at the start of her internship she becomes the church administrant assistant mean sectary. She went from being a part time person to a full time person but she still want to be a youth pastor then. After many months as the assistant she could not take working in that position anymore, she said to her self do the Best and God will Take Care of the rest. Share the Dream with God but let it go… and he will take it from there. Got creditable with the AG and after talking to the pastor one more time he got the position as one of the youth pastors. As a youth pastor she is putting in a lot of hours a week but it is all worth it in the end because the youth group is amazing, and it is growing in so many was that it seems to be almost impossible to keep up with all the changes that are happening. They are a small group base groups that will have about 10-15 kids in each group and if the group grows which is great, but they would have to split it down to make more small group. The church feels that it can ministry to so many people through the small group that they are willing to try about anything to make this small groups work. Each group have the shy ones and loud ones but they will mix and match these kids up that will help them get to know each other on a small group level but each person is encouraged to talk during the small group. They go on a lot of mission trips because they believe that it brings the groups of small groups together to make a lifetime of memories. It was interesting listen to her and her passions for youth. It was great ideas and great knowledge that I would need to know soon.

THANK YOU, David Crosby, Jr.

David Crosby, I just wanted to start by saying Thank You so much... In the beginning of class i went to sit down and was looking for plane tickets to Thailand for my internship in the summer and i was not able to find a traveling agent to help me find a ticket.. I didn't know what to do, so i sat there not knowing what to do. David Crosby sat right in front of me and said so how are you? I told him my situation with the ticket. And then he was like when i used to go overseas to help with intentional affairs Springfield Airs in Missouri would always get my ticket booked for me. Maybe they can help you out. Check into the next day.. and they helped me get a ticket right away... So thanks so much David for that little advice it helped me so much.
That was my first impressions for David Crosby in my class. Cool right.
David Crosby a typical pastor son from the Poconos, leave the pastor son life, went to high school meet a girl heart broke after didn't know what to do after school. Then Father asked if he want to help at the church as Youth Pastor.. went to school at the same time at home... meet a girl in the church got his heart hurt again. Got so down that he dad told him that he should go on a mission trip. So he went.. and feel in love with God again.. After he started doing things with international affairs overseas, meet his wife got married and came back to PA... He wanted to start a church in Hershey PA. Got everything approved but then when to Hershey to check it out.. but him and his wife didnt feel that it was right, that night, he felt that he need to plan a church in the Poconnos, But he didnt want to go back to the some place were he grow up... his wife didnt want to GO at all. That night after check out Hershey he said this to his wife she ran up stair crying... he went up there with his mother, and he said if God wants you to be even tho i dont want to go up there i will go with you because that what God wants you to. That night the went up to a church, and went into a board meeting and became the new pastor there.
Hearing everything that he want to do in the church seems so cool. HAVING A running STARBUCKS (drivein) is amazing. He found out that in that area that he was a pastor, they need child care, church, and coffee.. So in there church they have A MASSIVE kids program and a coffee place...  But right now they are in a highschool One thing that i like was the way that he says that he preaches. He looks to change the stage every month to match the theme of his sermons... HomeMakeover, Desperate Homelife, and Construction.. HARD HATS the band wore them (WOW)... it is amazing what he is doing, and what he is going to do.. He really have a heart for touching God, but changing culture to Christ.

Exploring the unchurched Mind of a New Believe that just started going to church

What do them thing when something so important comes into their lives? For me, I was so little when I came to know Jesus as my Savior of my life, so I could tell you how I felt. Know I want to know what it feels like to be in the world one moment and with God the next. When I was talking to my friend on campus, I told her that I need to find someone to talk to about this subject. She was like ME… She was so excited to tell me about her experience. She come from a foreign land when she was 8 and moving into the states adjustment was hate, but she started to fit in better with kids at school when she did the things that they did. Also her parents were really strict about everything that she was doing, so she would sneak off and do thing that she was not allowed to do. She becomes adducted to things that a girl at 13 should have not been on. One day, one of her new friends in high school asked her if she wanted to go to Youth Convention. She went and that was the first time that she understood love of Christ. She went home broken from the adduction and her parent saw the change in her. In three years, her sister, mother, aunt and uncle were saved from the witness that she had to them. Her life had her ups and downs but she is here at school live the Godly dream for life. What she said that helped her step over the line was the love that she needed. As a kid she was not loved by family because they were to best adjusting to the culture of America and after that she never wanted to feel love. The most challenging part of being a Christian is always feeling that the devil wants you back. She said that it was hard to keep following some one that you could not see but not following some one that you fall away and follow. Most growth in her faith that she told me was the people that love her for who she is, the people that care for her like her Christian friend and family. Advice that she had for me in help unbelievers was being there... Ready to listen, and BE A TRUE CHRISTIAN… and example of Christ because going back and forth got me so confused at what to know about Christ.

Dan Miller

Wow.. Can i say WOw... He had some much energy in his body that all i wanted to do was schedule him for a four K run. Dan Miller the Energy Bunny Man.. I would call him.. Doing so many things for God, That i wonder how he can breath sometime.

Dan Miller at a young age was a talker, he told us in class that i was like Wow, i could not stop laughing, He told us that when he was in the store with his mother he would walk and talk to everyone. His mother would leave him with Stranger because he could talk there ear off. In my mind i image one of those cartoon kids that start telling people about embearishing things out in public. You can see that he was a talker, and to this day he will not stop talking for Christ. You could tell that he was going to do something great for God one day.

He got invalid in a church at the age of 19 and become the youth pastor and started to go to school but he felt that God was saying stay here and work in the church. So he worked with Brendan Bible College were he was able to work in the church and go to school... He made his start at Green Mount View. The Church was thirsty for more everyday, and Since God was there the Church wanted more. Any time God is there God covers everything.  there were about 700 people every sunday, they move in a new place and need 25,000 for things and some one gave him 25,000 it was God, he was able to make the payment needed to get the church going. He said that We need to stop thinking about the church and thing about the people around it. It is not the people in the church that need God it is the people outside it. He moved again after the big change, and there was only 15 people in the church when he started, but one thing that he did was think about the community around him. God gave him the people that he needs to touch in ministry one night that he knew that there needed to be a change. After looking for a church for along time.. He come up with the most amazing IDEA in the church community today. It is a Gym Center... With Health Class and Basketball.. It is paid by membership. It is a place were people can get fed thought out the week and on sunday they can go to a church in the area. Since there are church in that area they felt that people need a place to go to really get fed in the week but also a place where they can take care of their bodies that God gave them... Raising People that are ready for ministry and really for Church...  Community that was reach through this Gym Worship Center is something that we need to see is really important to us, reaching the Community = Dan Miller= +++++JESUS+++++ that how it work.. it is all Jesus.

Exploring the Unchruched Mind ... Unchurched Friend 1

As I was sitting in my room think of a person to call and ask these question to for this assignment, it was not easy to find one that I know that has not been church before that I talk to all the time. Then it came to me, I have a friend that I meet a couple years back that called me the other day to say hi. Since he opened up by calling even through we had not talked for almost a year. He called and it was a good talk. So I said to myself maybe this could be the one that could answer my question about the un- Christian world and the world that I am living in today. So I called him up the next day and talk for two hours. At that time I felt that I reconnected with him in that I was able to ask these question with out being “unchurched friend” that I have not talked to forever’ answer these question. I need to talk to him before I did this because I know him as a person that get offend really easily. A little about his background in the church. He went to church as a little kid but as he got old he parent stop going, so in turn he stopped going to. He started to not believe in anything. I asked him if he believe in God, he said Yes, but that he doesn’t really care that much anymore about God, Church, or religion. He said that he is just a life rider, surfing through life with no care. After some small talk about our lives. He told me things that impact him the most is working and trying to find a nice girl to marry. I asked him a couple question about the area that he lives in know, which is fun because it is my home town too. He was I don’t really care that much, but if I had to say something, It would have to be drugs. He said the reason why there is a drug problem because there is nothing for teen or adult really to do in the town, so smoke pot is just better then sitting around. One thing that I thought was interesting that he said was that either people sitting around do nothing, or go out to the movie or get in trouble, and this is what shocked me, go to the Main Street Baptist church. He was talking that everyone goes there to play games and hang. From that I asked him, if you went to church what would you look for? He said People that were real. He felt that church people were not real with him at all, it was like they are selling a bag of dirty but making it out to be gold. At this time, I felt the need to be like but it is not, but people do need to be real. But what I said that has now let him be very open with me is that. People in the church can be un real just like the people outside but there are a lot of people that are real and understand that life is hard it is not easy. Trying to be Christian is easy, why take the easy way out. This related to him because he is one crazy guy, so he was like harder life seems better and more real. Understanding the thinking that he went through in answering this answer is something that only a person that knew them can do… Relationship is the KEY

Try, Try, Try Again... what do you have to waste: Gerry Stoltzfoos

Gerry, Amazing man that have a heart for people that are unchurched, but people that were burnt out from Church. Freedom Valley Worship Center a place that try try try and still growing. Yeah they went through alot, but they have Great Ideas, Creative ones, but it is not all the Glist and Glamour of the idea, it is the passion for the unsaved people that are going to hell.

Gerry and his wife started to look for a church in Philadelphia, but Could not Find any... The Director from the AG in The Gettsuburg area called Gerry up, and asked if he would try this church, Didn't want to go there, but went. It was amazing because while going to visit Gettsberg, His Wife this is amazing... She said  "God said that is OUR HOUSE" In the town and that house is were they live now still to this day. Crazy you think. They are know a pastor in that town and this is the little story about Pastor Gerry and the church that keep trying..

There once was a Homegrown Amish Man turned Pastor named Gerry, He was a pastor of great trying. After being downed by everyone in the new area, So after the church was going, he wanted to reach many more people, so he try this and he try a ton of new ways to reach people. Cowboy, Horse, concert, tattoos, cafe, ballroom, skater park, and more he tried everything and a lot of things worked and a lot of this didn't work. In the end he reached people that know no one would have be reached and helped before. He help the burnt out Christians and the ones that got hurt from the church

Gerry feel that he tried everything God would not be redundant with church... so he never wanted to have a same church. That is one thing that stuck out for me... I just wanted to ask him so many things but we run out of time for it... but I thought that he had a great mission and he was making it real.

Check it out.... It is what is said.. and Gerry stood up and did something that no one wanted to do to get the gospel out there.    Don’t lost the guts, for that( hell)- Gerry

Passion with a Seven: Jason Lamer

Jason Lamer. Passion with a Seven

Jason Lamer a passionate guy that you can tell that he wants to tell everyone about Christ. What is a Major to him. Ministry Major that became a missionary, evangelic, and youth pastor. He dived into each ministry with God leading, but also having strong heart for YOUTH.

Jason Lamer grow up in a christian home at the age of two and father became a pastor( woot woot) PK all the way. I knew what he mean when he said Church was your life apart, intertwind in your life. It is like "Mom why are they not at church" kind of thing. I thought it was funny when he told the story of BK with seeing people in jeans after a sunday morning service.

Because of his faith in Christ Jason became a christian at the age of seven during a Evangelical sermon at church. Always walked with the Lord, there was some dry time he said, but he just had to waited at times. He seeked God in those dry times and Waiting for God

Age 17, encounter with God, he really COME to BELIEVE in the Belief that he grow up

went to North Central at the same time that my President at my school was there. Dr. Don called him after meeting him at a FA in St.Louis. and that when he desiced to go to NCU, because he said that he wanted to go to a place were man like that are.

He went as Pastoral Major, but became a youth pastor.. so it is possible to graduate with a different major and still do what God wants you to be. But in the end He wanted to work in the local church

One thing that i felt that he really did after school was TRUSTING GOD.... Interviewed four different places. Grad in May and didn't have a place till july TEMP. Speaking in christ till then TRUST IN GOD .. then he landed a job in Union town, one of poorest coun. in Pa. Leading with teen pregnancy, and very depressed town. Don Emaled called him gave him a job as a youth pastor. He had a great saying FIND A NEED AND MEET IT. How do you get into the community.

Brian Bolt

Jail or Military or Death

My first impression of our speaker in our class that night was that he was from the Italian Mof. He was wearing a black jacket and a big silver chain. To me he was a very laid back looking guy. Once he started to talk you could see that God was so Soaked into ever part of his life....

Brian Bolt was a man that went through some many things in the beginning of his journey that you would not help but say "IT IS GOD". At a young age he started to go major drugs and started to deal them. He got caught and the government gave him a choice one was go to Jail or the Military. So he chose the Military, when to Boot Camp didn't do that much drugs, but then after started to get back into drugs, and then run away from the Navy and went to Mexico where the Military had a warrant for his arrest. Mean time while hiding from the Military, he started to sell drugs again and a man got mad at him after a bad deal and shot him in the face....WHAT a Bullet to the FACE... when i heard this I was Like HOW CAN THIS MAN STILL BE ALIVE. He told us that when he was going to the hospital the EMT, The EMT said that Dude you are going to dye, so there he gave his life to Christ. Being in the hospital bed for 46 days around there not being able to talk, walk, or even think because of all the drug that he was on, Drug abducted man on drug by force:) His face was mostly remade with metal and other thing in which the Navy paid for everything which millions of dollar. Million dollar Face :) o shiny. So you would think after everything that he went through to take point he would change his ways.. but he didn't he started to do the drug sense again... One Day a person talked to him on the street and TOLD Him ( this is amazing) You are going to do something good for God... he was prophetic  by a person on the street that was talking to him even thou he was not even a Christian. The people that talked to him was the Victory Outreach home, they took him in, showed him how to get his life back into track, taught how to pray, and also helped him work everything out with the military. THE home rebuild is life but it was God.... the hosptal rebuild his face, but God was and is still rebuilding his life. He start to go into Master Commission got kick out..... two months got kicked out because he dated. well not really.. he thought that there was no dating so he got married. After MC worked everything out with him, he wanted to work in the city but they sent him to a small town in the country... He learn a lot out there specially  church planning, went through everything and wanted to start a church in the city, go rejected to start it, was told learn more about church planing... He started to from a lot of relationships with people around him.. Jeff Leek one man that came into his life that helped him with his vision in Alison Park, he worked there and learned more. Then he started a Church right in Pit PA where he started a Half Way House, and first month there was 150 people. But the half way house was something that was made to help and God is so soaked in that many guys were cleaned from drug but also HIV. Even a man on his death bed was saved from the HIV and started his life all over again. and was sent. This church is growing... WOW read the beginning of this blog... yeah wow.... life changing testimony that was so soaked in God that he said that everything that he did in this growth in the ministry it is all GOD....

I learned that from Brain that you need to set up boundary in ministry ... so that you dont get burnt out..

His Ministry is called Pittsburgh Outreaches which is the half way house, but they have other outreaches in the Summer.

Ministry from a man that went from drug head to a God smart man was Amazing to listen to but help me to see that my life and ministry can also be so soaked inim that i might be able to stand in front of this class when i am Older and Stay it was ALL GOD... that is my life goal now

Thanks So Much Brian
